Great First Ride of the Year

We had a great first ride of the year. My guest was from California and had never been to Maine. He chose to ride on May 1st in Maine....I immediately admired his sense of adventure. The trails were already moist from the Spring thaw and we had 2 days and over 2'' of rain leading up to this ride. The sun came out as he pulled into the driveway for our ride. It was wet and muddy and lots of fun! I am very grateful to those who chose to come out and ride with me.
