Another Great Spot to Ride- Cherokee, NC- Fire Mountain

If you are ever in the Smoky Mountains, Cherokee is a great place to visit for Mountain Biking. There is a rental shop called Motion Makers that rents Santa Cruz and Specialized bikes. They also provide helmets. Fire Mountain Trails are less than a mile ride away. I was lucky enough to meet up with a very kind local rider named George that showed me the trails. We climbed on Tinker's Dream, Waya, and Uktena to get to the top of the Mountain. Once there, we rode down Kessel Run. This is a fast one way trail down with several jumps and turns. Fast, flowy, and lots of fun!!!
